FT3 is the last filter for our Frontier system. It uses a new technology, Template Assisted Crystallization (TAC). Atomic level templates on the surface of small specially treated polymer spheres transform dissolved CaCO3 to a crystallised form. The crystals are relatively insoluble, effectively isolating the CaCO3 from the water chemistry and anything the water contacts and hence reduces/removes scale.

Caution: Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system. Filters should be changed every six months or earlier for high water usage applications.
